Has any one used an aluminun spacer to get more offset on their wheels in a series truck?? i just saw a friends chevy s10 and he has big wheels added to it and there is a billet spacer in the front. If anyone knows a source for this i would appreiate it. i am running stock wheel 16in, and with the power steering i would love to get away from some of the rubbing i am experiencing. Any help would be appreciated.

My first suggestion would be to use a set of 110 rims. Wise Owl used to carry them at a reasonable price. Wheel spacers are going to give you problems with the length of your studs. I would think that any number of machine shops could whip you up a set. There is a shop in North Van that specializes in this but I can't come up with the name at this moment.

ps. if your wheels rub maybe you just need to adjust the steering stops?

Thanks . I found that the steering pressure i now have is beyond those little bolts, seems they have colapsed. will check on a wider wheel. does the rim profile of a 110 match the orriginal series wheel??

Close, I think the offset moves it out about .75 inches from a stock 109 wheel. Wolf wheels are another option, basically similar to a 110 wheel, but even further offset.

A bunch of years ago I had grabbed a chev 6 bolt rim,cut out the centers of both the rover and chev rims. I then had a welder build me a wild offset wheel out of the parts. The rim may still be at the farm or Andre has it.
