Coolant leak under throttle body of '01 D2 4.0
All,
A mechanic friend of mine noticed what I should have, that there is a coolant leak on the Wife's D2 under the throttle body. It looks to be coming from a square plate with hoses going to it.
Pulling off the throttle body I assume means at least the gasket for the plate-thingy -- I'm sure the official part name -- and where the throttle body mounts to the plenum. Any other gaskets or hardware needed?
Thanks,

I had the same problem on my D2 two years ago and my rover mechanic just bypassed it with some heater hose rather than replace the unit. From what the mechanic says it doesn't really get cold enough here to need the extra heat in the throttle body. It has not had any detrimental effect from what I can tell on the motor. My D2 always starts right-up regardless of the temp or weather conditions and always runs well.

Damn-damn-damn-damn-damn...
I got a new throttlebody heater plate kit and installed it yesterday. I'm very embarassed to say that on the last 'snug' the front bolt -- between the hoses -- broke off.
I've plugged the hoses to bypass the plate, but now I have a tiny bolt broken off in the throttlebody. Is there any way I'll be able to drill this out? Are there helicoils that small? Am I looking for a different throttlebody for the winter?
Very pissed off,
