Selling my 110 - Victoria BC

#1 Post by 5spd » Mon Sep 06, 2010 9:51 pm

Ladies and Gents,

I've had to put the 110 up for sale. Particulars are listed in the For Sale section, and on Craig's list for Victoria. Thought I'd post here as the truck is on the island.

Sorry to be selling it off before making it out to a single run with any of you.

Have you ever thought of just trading it up for something with a few more seats? It looks like a nice rig!

Sort of. 4 seater defenders are pretty hard to find at a price I could afford. I don't fit in Series trucks very well at all. I thought about converting it by splicing a rear end from a 5 door on, but lack the garage.

it is a good truck, i'm going to miss it, if it ever sells! in the meantime, of course, it is running like a top!

I know what you mean about the size of series rovers...I have a 107 five door (should be back on the road soon) and it seats a ton but you are very close to the steering. Have fun with it while you can eh! I wish I had the coin to buy it!

Ladies and Gents,

I sold the 110 to Jeremy of Victoria, and hopefully he will be getting out and about with you lot. I almost didn't go through with the deal, I've had so much fun witht that truck. Maybe again in the future.

Happy wanderings.

Chris, good to hear you were able to sell your LR. I did as well. But I still have a LR that I took as part payment. A 1958, Series 2, 88". Great fun.
There may be a LR coffee afternoon on the 19 of Feb. Watch for details on the Regional discussion page
Cheers
