Well after jumping dunes around 70 Mile this weekend.....I cant believe this happened :shock: :lol: :lol:

Ok no dunes and no air time for the Discovery......more like 7 years as the axle droop limiter is more likely and more mundane :roll:

OME Shock

I did a shock in earlier in the year on some large moguls in chilliwack

OME Shocks
Dave, I wouldn't hesitate getting some more Old Man Emu shocks (in fact I replaced this one with more OME's).
The one in the picture has done thousands of heavy off-road miles and had a very hard life! The main reason it snapped was because It was the taking the load when the wheel was in fall drop....
I would guess many heavy off roaders in our club have OME's installed...

Looking at Paul's picture, it looks like it was cracked most of the way through. There is just one little strip of bright metal in the middle of the shaft. It looks like it was cracked for a while based how rusty it looks in the photo's. There can't have been much left to hold it together when he went jumping
I'm running OME's and am very happy with them.
