Fires affecting the Whipsaw?

Does anyone know if the fires are affecting the Whipsaw at all? A friend and I were going to go up to the Whipsaw this weekend. I just got back in town from a business trip and my wife said there were some fires up your way.

I spent a bit of time with Google and I believe I've answered my own question.

The Tweddle Creek fire near Keremeos might cause a little smoke, but it doesn't look like it is anywhere near the actual trail.
