Slow going.

#1 Post by Greg S » Thu May 06, 2010 4:34 pm

I should be used to slow going. After all; I drive a 109.

The slow going is my recovery at home after an operation last Friday. Seems I'm supposed to do not much for a month. A week has gone by and I'm not even spending much time on the computer and haven't read any of the books I got to fill my time; very little TV too.

Less than an hour at a time at any of the TV, computer or visiting. A couple naps a day kind of round out the day. I think my project tomorrow will be to try to get going on that book again.

Time heals all...

Greg seeing as you drive a 109 (as I do) taking things slow is part or your life (more people should try this).

Think of your recovery as breaking in a new engine...walk before you run...take your time, and try to enjoy the "downtime".

Hope all goes well and you are behind the wheel soon.

Cheers,

A fellow 109'er

Hey Greg

Not sure I'd be recommending Rover metaphors to decribe health conditions... unless you are leaking on the floor alot... you're not leaking on the floor alot I hope. Then again, better a Rover metaphor than a Pinto! Get well soon fearless leader we need someone to set the standard at the Rally Wellie Toss in June!

Hi Greg

If I bring you a 60lb drum of steel wool , will you have time to knit me a new injection pump for the endless project otherwise known as a 300tdi .

Hope the recovery goes well .
