Looking for some info on the road up Mt Cheam in Chilliwack. Conflicting reports online. Basically I need to know how narrow the track is and if it is likely to be subject to snow slides in the winter. Any info would be great.
Cheers

I have been up there several times. Unfortunately the last was earlier in the year as the snow was melting, and not accumulating and have never been at this time of year or deeper into winter. Now that I am prodding my memory for information, I'm not sure I can tell you much more. The foliage up there is getting pretty thick again, so I don't think you will see much sliding at all until there is 6 or 8 feet of snow. There are a few exposed sections that my be worrisome with lots of snow. But the track is definitely wide enough for vehicles. There is one somewhat steep exposed uphill, that in the dry times gives two wheel drive some problems. I've seen chrysler minivans navigate it when it's lacking snow.
That's all the knowledge I can remember. I'll bet it's spectacular up there in the winter. I checked it out late last winter but didn't go very far. There were plenty of snowshoe and ski tracks though.
