Silver City does quality work and I haven't ever had anything go missing. Small pieces can be a problem for them and imperfections are part of the game with hot dip galvanizing. They have a centrifuge to spin off excess zinc on very small pieces but they only use it for certain jobs. Best to go down...

Silver City is the place to go for sure. I just had an entire boat trailer frame and the rock rails for my 110 done. including tax, out the door $184. Avoid disappointment. Make sure all the loose scale and rust is removed. No paint or welding slag. Their acid dip will only take care of very slight ...

I thinks Stuart's point about devaluation of the vehicle for resale is the main reason to avoid this idea. I've had line-x in pick-up beds before and it is very tough stuff.
