roamerdrive

Does anyone have a center to center measurement for the shift rod on a series early roamerdrive? When I swapped transmissions recently my overdrive shift rod was taken apart for removal. Now the Roamerdrive wont stay in gear during regular operation, works fine if it stays in overdrive.

Re: Head light bulbs

Work great, much to the disappointment of our oldest son showing off his expensive lights he bought for his truck. Turned on High beams and there was n...

Re: Series front brakes

Replaced the master cylinder, Much better. still not the windshield in your face I was hoping for with the Torrel disc's up front. Still not wanting to tow a medium size trailer ,<2500# s> till I get it really dialed in. Hoping the pads seat soon and brakes improve. Feel better about going up to Van...

TimberPig,
Great idea. however, I replaced the hoses when installing the Disc brake conversion. Am in the process of changing out the master cylinder and will update tomorrow.

Re: Heated windscreens?

We have been looking at Ricky Evans for a couple pairs, one for the 88, and 1 for the 109. you can find them at heatedwindscreens.com. Let me know if your placing orders please as the shipping could be quite a substantial savings in bulk, normally 210 pounds for insured shipping. the windshields the...

Re: 2 1/4 series 3 electronic distributor

Last year leaving Van Duesen, our 88 with Petronix took a dump right on Oak st. We pulled over and after diagnosing what it was, pulled out the brand new points distributor from under the front seat, put it in and returned home. Just a thought to think about...... What are you going to do on a Sunda...

Series front brakes

A little history, our 88" was converted to power 109 11' front brakes approx 10 yrs ago.. Stopped so hard you needed to beware of the steering wheel with front teeth. Over time and a replaced master cylinder, brakes are as bad or worse than the original 88 10" brakes. replaced all wheel cylinders, b...
