Back on the Island after a year living in Toronto so thought I'd fire up the old Landy and give her a wash... After a quick manual priming of the fuel pump she came straight back to life!

Went for a quick shake down drive on the back roads and everything seems just like I left it a year ago...

1965 Series 2A 109 For Sale

Hi Everyone, I'm moving back to Ontario this summer and although the plan is to come back to BC in 3-5 years it pains me to think of my Series 2A sitting under a tarp and deteriorating so I've decided to put her up for sale. Re: 95 Disco 5-speed - opinions?

I sold a 95 with the 5sp for $3k around 2 years ago. It had 200kms on it... The 5sp is a bonus for some people but at the end of the day it’s a 95 disco and assuming it’s got the Rover V8 there’s not really a big market for these trucks outside of the Rover community. 134kms is low though - you migh...

Thanks Mepham55 (Matt) - adjusting the pushrod on the brake MC seems to have solved by brake binding issue... Hey Colin, looking good! I had to speedy sleeve my crank seal as well - so far so good RE: leaks from that spot. Hi guys,
Where do all you series landy owners get your filters and oil from? Can these be sourced locally (Island) or do the filters need to be ordered specially and delivered. 2.25 petrol later 2a (smaller filter).

Frame repairs? As mentioned above you don't really know until you get in to it...

I guess I was lucky with my suspension/frame bushes - they only took me 30 mins a corner to cut and drift out, but my frame has very little corrosion.

I live on Horne Lake if you get stuck for a place to camp. Pretty much the farther you go north the better the access. Andy I didn't rebuild mine, I don't think there is much that can go wrong on the inside. I chose to fill mine with One Shot Grease through a grease nipple where the fill bolt was. Hi Andy, thats exactly what I did. Its documented in my rebuild thread but the pics are no longer there (photobucket wonkers!).
Its pretty straightforward if you have a good vice, hose clamps, zip ties and a big pair of cojones!
(Scariest bit is compressing the spring and cutting the zip ties)

Looking good Colin - I wish I'd gone with POR for peace of mind also but I was lucky in that my frame had most of its original factory paint (probably why the bushes came out so easily lol). The waxoyl is a good call, as the POR-15 is sensitive to sunlight and can degrade over time if exposed...
