One motor mount jigged and tacked in preparation for welding and the other completed in the background. The "perfect" test measurement was 1 3/8" from the top of the frame, then to compensate for settling of the full floating rubber mounts, I subracted 1/2" so the total standoff from the top of the frame is 7/8". If I'm out by a bit, I can either shim the mount to lift the engine, or shim the rad lower holes to lift the rad.
