Fuel Milage off road trivia

#1 Post by obalme » Thu Sep 19, 2019 8:42 pm

On our recent Roverlander trip "Lake2Lake" we compared the fuel mileage of 3 diesel 110's and and a gas 4 cylinder Toyota 4Runner off road. We all filled up at Boston Bar and again at the end of the Whipsaw at Manning Park Gate filling station. I think it was about 240km's in distance :rev:

Brenie with 2.8tvg used 48 litres
Myself with 300tdi 45 litres
Bill with 200tdi 42 litres
Bjorn with the Toyota gas 50 litres

Hi Oliver... wonder if the fact only Bernie had a RTT? Bill had sent me a video comparing mileage with/without RTT!
