The small shop around the corner from me uses fixed rate, even on my RRC. They ended up spending a little more time than quoted time about 25% of the time but was charged only fixed rate unless the PO had done something stupid like welding some parts in the engine bay :shock:

Thanks for taking the time to provide a new look. One thing I have noticed is every time I press the blue Roverlanders logo for a refresh I get sent to the main web page not just a refresh of the forum page which means I get multiple windows openning until it locks up..

For my hubs I will use Princess Autos Krazy Grease which comes in a jar or tube. We sell loads of the stuff especially for those putting their trailers in the water. In past I found other greases tend to almost clog up the up making it very difficult to engage and disengage, My 2 bits worth! Cheers ...

You can also buy a gas bottle from KMS or I would think pretty much any full service welding supplier. At $12/month would only take a year or 2 to pay for it depending on the size you wanted.

One way to make sure of a smooth transaction on importing from the UK is to have all your paperwork in order, including any parts that might be along for the ride, make sure it gets cleaned in the UK and there is a letter from the export company on their letterhead stating the same, and be courteous...

In years past I have rented both the car hauler and a pick up truck from Uhaul to move LR's, no problems, they even hook it all up before I got there however the only place on the lower mainland I could even get a trailer was North Van.
