Re: Camping near Kelowna

Although I have not camped there, I do often take the Kane Valley Road which cuts off Meritt on my way to/from Kelowna - its popular with fishers as there are a few nice lakes along the way. From Vancouver, the access is a couple of kms from the Coldwater exit off the Coq. Type in Kane Valley Road i...

On the advise of my Indy, I use 87 in my V8 with the understanding that as a low compression engine it wouldn't matter us sing a higher octane fuel but I would be very interested in feedback on the accuracy of that advise.... :?

I'd go with the V8 - I don't think you will see any significant fuel savings for the loss of power in this heavy vehicle with a V6. I believe the V6 is a Ford engine used in the Explorer, V8 is a Jag and is a great reliable runner. Although I am not handy myself at this sort of thing, the air compre...
