Re: 300TDI Lift Pump or Injector Pump problems...

Ok, no success yet? 1) If you have an air hose try blowing the fuel line backwards, and then try priming it. 2) Try a trick my son learnt from a heavy duty mechanic. Pressurize the fuel tank "not to much" while cranking the engine over, this will push the fuel down the fuel line. 3) All else fails, ...

Re: 300TDI Lift Pump or Injector Pump problems...

I hate to ask a stupid question but is there diesel in the fuel tank? Also, you should stop cranking and start just using the priming pump until you get some diesel coming through, you are going to wear out your starter. Some fuel tanks have a plastic filter on the suction in the tank, these have ca...

I would try calling Island Express who say they are going to take on the route, Greyhound used to be a cheap way to get things around but not so much now, other options are courier (they deliver right to your door) or Canada post (close to your door).

Hi, I'm not sure what make of injection pump you have, but if it is a CAV Lucas they tend to air lock and it can be a real challenge to prime. If you crack an injector and it is not spraying diesel, just bubbling, then the injection pump is not primed. If you have fuel at the injectors, crack inject...

2 used 109 frames - Sand blasted - Free

Hi, I have 2 109 frames that have been sandblasted and some welding has done on them. Both frames have solid parts on them and could be made into one solid frame, or bits cut off.

I will keep them until the end of January and then they will go for scrap if no one is interested in them.
