See #10 above, but it has to be a jpg/jpeg image. It cannot be a doc or PDF. I think a .png will work too but I haven’t tried. Re: buying a series 3 exmod without papers?

I've gone through the process a half dozen times. It's not hard, just takes time. Visit the ICBC site above and read through it a couple of times. Basically it breaks into 5 parts: 1. A bill of sale from the previous owner filled in as completely as possible. Autoplan dealers give out an ICBC approv...

Hi Phil, Welcome to Land Rover ownership! In my experience shops tend to want to supply their own parts, so unless its a shop familiar with Land Rovers they won't be able to find the parts. You would have to use a photo viewer on your computer with an export option. On the Mac I use Preview, or Photoshop. not sure what the equivalent is on PC, but usually whatever program you use to view the PDF on your computer is a good starting point.

Just a couple of tips on boost. Definitely you want to install a boost gauge before fiddling with it. Boost can be easily adjusted by adding a small manual control, such as the turbosmart manual adjuster. I've used these on several diesels and they work extremely well. They are available at most sho...

Why not do the opposite? transplant the IIa body onto the Discovery? That way you get the benefits of coil sprung suspension, and you know for certain all the mechanical bits will fit together. Only thing is to get 2wd you would have to put some freewheeling hubs on the front and lock the centre dif...

While I tend to agree with Craig regarding getting the unit with the built in GPS, and I've done so with every ipad I've purchase over the past 4 years, it might be worth looking into the features of the built in GPS vs. the BT models. I do too, I was trained to drive that way by a legit drivers training school in Abbotsford, which has miles of that kind of lane on South Fraser Way. It's worth noting that for many roads with a centre lane, it would be close to impossible to make a left turn without using the centre lane to merge. ...

Everything interesting is under feet or meters of snow at the moment. Down in the valley is snow-free, but nearly all the off-roading is elevated to over 3000 feet, so you're fighting the snow pack and the snowmobilers who don't want trucks on their groomed trails.
