I bought the disc brake kit from Ray and installed it on my 109.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat. What a great modification! Seamless and invisible. Incredibly easy to install with every step of the Instructions clear and correct.

BUT you have to have 16 inch wheels. Won't work with 15 inch.

The Rochester B worked well with lots of top end but suffered a severe case of bogging at very low speed. Now I find it may have been a worn out distributor. It had a few other issues that I devised work arounds for. Finding different sized jets is a search into old hotrod guys bottom drawers.

Okay, I understand. Bare wires in the dash, loose wires, wires bundled with tape all falling off. Not original at all from the sound of it. Often somebody here has a used one they might sell. Yup. The ,British Leyland Dealer of the day is still in business in Courtney and even has a Land rover 88 for a service truck. Located at the top of the ramp at the government warf. They're a good bunch and know the land rover.

I've been switching mine from the 90 to the 109 and they are a real struggle to get all the way on. Has anyone else had a problem with this? The hub is a Trorel disk brake hub. 90 and 110 always were 12 volt, even if ffr from what I've read. The 24 volt was only used for the radios. That is a resistor to give you a two speed fan. The fan gets power and the ground is through the switch on the dash via the resistors.

CAUTION! The fan you link to is for a right hand drive vehicle. It won't work in a left hand drive.
