Re: Stereo amplifier

Not sure if this helps but there’s usually a couple D2s at the wreckers in Chilliwack. Bit of a drive but you’re not paying a premium at least.

Re: London Heritage Farm Car Show - June 24 2018

Just a reminder that this event is in less than a week! I’m hoping to see at least one other Land Rover there (or whatever else you have!), and not just the usual cadre of hot rods and classic muscle cars...!

Re: Autoplan, Insurance and ICBC

You’re talking about the same insurance company whose computer system said “White” for my old Disco (entered as “DCVRY”) even though it was Gold...I’ve never heard of them doing an agreed value for insurance. That’s something you have to argue with them when the unthinkable happens.

Autoplan, Insurance and ICBC

I've been searching around for insurance options for my Defender that's arriving soon, and haven't come up with much more than what ICBC can offer. None of the third-party insurers will touch a right-hand drive vehicle - some of them will stop you as soon as you say Land Rover. So, with that said......

London Heritage Farm Car Show - June 24 2018

Hello everyone, the Rover Landers are once again invited to this fairly informal but enjoyable show now entering it’s 3rd year. Come down to Richmond on (hopefully) a sunny weekend afternoon and see some great vehicles. It’s also a fantastic photo spot as well. Info follows...! ——— On Sunday, June 2...

Re: ISO Set of Defender Rims

I have a 130 coming in to the country this year, it has a set of non-HD steelies on it, I am not sure yet if I will keep them because I have a set of Boosts with MTRs on already...would you be interested in something like that?

Labour Day long weekend outing?

Does anyone have plans? Or need plans? I'd like to take off to the Lillooet/Gold Bridge area for the weekend. I want to leave Saturday morning and come back Monday night, possibly Tuesday night depending on the plans of others.

Porteau Cove about 45 min north of Vancouver has waterfront camping. There isn't much else unless you go to the island or Sunshine Coast.

Weekends book up quickly.

If you're on 16th come say hello some time. I've got lots of Disco 1 bits that may find a home. I'm at 232 and 16 in Langley. Currently working on replacing the floor panel. (Don't look under your carpet unless you're brave....)

Re: Disco 1 Rear View Mirror replacement

You should be able to do a mirror swap with a disco 2. I had map lights built into mine which are hard to find so I ended up shipping mine off to be repaired. They replaced the glass and now it autodims again. The place is in Texas but it was pretty quick. http://www.radar-mirror.com/Mirror_Repair....

Can you disable the automatic pop up? Many people don't care for tapatalk and it can be very annoying to be on an iPad or large phone and have to click through the popup every day.

Re: Disco1 V8 Fuel Wiring / Wire identification help!

It's probably just a dead fuel pump. I had the same thing happen, and the relays were just fine. I was only getting 5 volts off the harness at the pump. My guess is that there is something in the pump which causes the 12v relay to click over to apply power to it, since it's a 4pin connector. If the ...
