Hi All,

 Forgot. I thought I had already RSVPed. I'm in. 8)

I think the Samurai should do very well. They're very light, and skinny enough to fit anywhere.

What's Up for August - Again!

Hi Everybody!

What about a nice 4x4 adventure? Anyone up for a day trip, or a few days camping?

Summer is disappearing fast. Free this weekend & next week. Sunday 26th, busy.

Cheers,

Re: What's up for August

Well, the long weekend is going to be pretty busy. I'm up for anything this coming week, including the weekend if folks want to battle to traffic. I'm got plans on the 11th. Other than that, I can change things around. So, who wants to go? Where do we want to go? Cheers!

Hi Arcades (and Everyone), Andy's away for a bit, but that doesn't mean the rest of us can't have fun. Anyone up for a run? The Disco is up and running again, so it's time for some adventuring. We should probably stay away from the long weekend, due to the traffic. Weekdays are even better is people...

Re: Anyone line x the body of their truck ?

red90 - good point about the corrosion.

Stuart & Bill are correct on value. I guess it depends on the Land Rover. A classic series truck, no. Blasphemy! A P38, while much more comfy, is less of a concern when it comes to resale values. :D

Re: Anyone line x the body of their truck ?

I once saw a Range Rover P38 in this at Don's in North Vancouver. It looked the business, but I think they said it was heavy. Unless you're doing a brand new Rover, I think the biggest thing would be making sure there was absolutely NO corrosion on any sprayed part. Trapped and spreading rust under ...

I'd agree with all of the above. Rust is the big enemy. Everything else can be fixed. Remember, body is aluminium, so the rust is not out in easy to see places.
